After downloading Microsoft net frames and the new 5.5 Autostar software I have been able to take several terestrial pictures. When I try to open the file I get the " Can't open ZxzxyyvImg.tga" error.

   Any Idea what i'm doing wrong?   Thanks; Don T.

what file format did you save in?

I haven't worked with the latest version of AS-IP, but the previous release just wouldn't open certain file types.

For casual "playing around", I recommend jpeg, for serious work, you want to use fits. As I recall .bmp worked & played well with others, but .tiff had "issues".

Thanks; Yes it was JPEG and I found in the manual that you have to use bmp of fits to use the IP software.

   I'm fumbleing my way thru all this. I can now take pictures and save them but I saved all uncombined so I realy cant see any enhancment.

    To make matters worse the LPI manual I have been reading mentions many tabs that are not visable on my LPI program. ( Envisage 7.06) I'll go back to the Meade web site and see If I can find the correct manual.

   I did switch the save option to "normal". I presume this will combine and filter.
