    M104 Galaxy

    Hello Guys,

I remember last year trying to find this one M104 Sombrero with my non goto CG5.

I was unable to.  This year with my GOTO LXD-75 I found it. Not allot ofdetail but

it is the DSIc thru LX50 8 inch SCT and reduced to 1000mm to get this tiny galaxy at 6 arc minutes

74 x 30 seconds ( unable to guide with the LPI again got to got a guide camera).

    Also got M51 Again it's a little noisy . Same setup 105 x 30 seconds

    Greg,

Looks like your imaging is coming along well.  If you can go a bit longer on the exposures you will find you can get a lot more detail but it looks as though your stars are nice and round and your focus is good which is always a plus.  Nice job, look forward to seeing more of your images.
