    Bugs in Envisage 7.05

I have found the following 3 problems with the Envisage V7.05 software.

    1) When the tracking box gets close to the edge of the window (approximately 10-15 pixels) the application crashes. This is a problem when using the Drizzle mode where the tracking box can get very close to the edge of the screen, since using 2 points to de-rotate the image the 2 points should be as far from each other as possible while not to far to remain within the window.

    2) When using a DSI-Pro and DSI-C (the original ones not the second version DSI-IIs) the high gain checkbox is not remembered when re-starting software (you have to set it everytime you run the software).

    3) The Magic focus is sometimes updated several times and the whole desktop window including all other opened window are being redrawn causing a anoying flashing of the screen. After serveral dedraw the Magic focus window becomes blank until the next image is acquired and the process restarts. I am using a dual monitor setup where the Envisage software is running on the secondary display while the Autostar Suite window is showing the actual telescope position on the Primary display. When the autostar suite window is re-drawn a white flash occurs, since multiple re-draws are taking place this is very anoying. When it happens re-starting the Envisage software does not appear to fix the problem. I have to switch to the Telescope tab to stop this but as soon as I go back to the Stats tab the problem re-appears.

I don't know if Meade is aware and fixing the these problems and I wonder if other people are experiencing these an possibly other problems.
