1. Examined all images and selected best quality for processing
2. Stacked individual sets of R, G, B and L files using Envisage
3. Loaded the 4 RGBL files into Photoshop Elements using Fits Liberator addin
4. Uses a log stretch and adjusted black and white points in Fits Liberator to provide good balance and contrast
5. In Photoshop Elements, changed each to RGB and set Hue / saturation as follows B (240, 100, -50) G (120, 100, -50), R (0, 100, -50)
6. Stacked R, G and B image as separate layters on top of L image. Setting layer blend to screen for each
7. Adjusted the levels and used despeckle filters with layer masks to remove noise

Messier 56 is a small, dim cluster of very dim blue and golden stars. The *brightest* star is of magnitude 13. The cluster is only about 8' in diameter. The low brightness and small size makes m56 an exceedingly difficult target and poor choice for the DSI II Color, even in the hands of the most experienced imager.
