Equipment: Meade LX90 8" SCT@f/3.3 (Meade f/3.3 focal reducer) in Alt/Az
mode, DSI color imager, IR cut filter, Outback Cooler at 10°C.
Details: Captured using Envisage 4 unguided. 89 x 2s, gain: 85,
offset 49. Images stacked and color merged in AS-IP. Post-processed in
Photoshop CS, LRGB.
I would give this image a "4"
1) Focus/Sharpness - Yes
2) Composition - Yes
3) Star Quality - No - Oblong stars detract from image
4) Processing Skills - Yes - (but would like to see a little lighter background)
5) Exposure/Depth/Detail - Yes - appropriate for DSI Color camera
6) Technical Bonus - No
