M51 Luminance - C11@f/5

M51 L
03/25/07
DSI Pro II, C11 @ 2460mm f/8.8, EQ6, guided with ED80, DSI Pro I (sorta)

L: 44 x 15 seconds + 37 x 30 seconds
Total Exposure: 29 minutes, 30 seconds

Drizzle Resolution: 2.00
Pixel Fraction: 0.80

Over-stretched, I know... and too much focal length. This was more of a test for my autoguiding setup.

I say sorta guided, because although the guide scope and software were working properly, the majority of subs coming in were trailed. The source has yet to be determined, but periodic error and the large difference in focal length between imager and guider may be the cause.
