TMB 80/480 Piggybacked on a 8" Meade LX-90 GPS with standard wedge Meade DSI IIIc with Meade F6.3 Focal Reducer + 30mm Extension (gives F4.3) and Orion Skyglow filter. Autoguided using LX-90 with Astro Engineering .6x reducer & DSIc with 2.5S update rate in PHD (via GPUSB & APM)
14 480S Subs, Dark subtract done on the fly in Envisage, hand picked subs, flat frame, bias calibration and stacking done in AIP4Win 2.2 for each individual LRGB channel. Calibrated channels, wavelet noise fitered, tangent stretched, registered and joined in AIP4WIN 2.2 using the join colours tool (G2V method). Final finishing in Photoshop with autolevels, red curves tweak.

Notes: Same data as first 20-12-2009 post, but with k-sigma wavelet noise filter applied in all channels prior to the tangent stretch. I think this approach gives a much better rendition of the detail, and much less noise in lower pixel values.
