Hi, John
I've heard, but don't know for a fact, that they have been discontinued. I do believe they still offer the DSI-II.
The III's should be around on AstroMart for a while.

Hi, Jon
No direct experience with this (in fact, I never did see this error myself). I would tend to suspect that the data throughput was swamping the USB channel somewhow. This is just based on the comment about imaging Jupiter with a DSI-III and running a second DSI at the same time.

The link above is not for a ''patch'', but a PEC editing utility that will allow you to download your table, examine it, manipulate it, and then upload the ''new improved'' table back to the mount.
It is worth getting if all you ...

Hi, Steve
Meade ''broke'' the tool when they introduced the 24 minute PEC table.
Andrew Johansen (who hangs out here from time to time) has an excellent (& free) tool that actually works with the LX200. You can find it here:

Have you tried running the virtual XP machine under 7? I have heard several reports that it works fine with Envisage & the DSI's. Can't say for sure about the LPI, it is a bit of a different beast.
